Tradtional Hainanese homecooked food on Singapore

Not the most glamourous place but still one of my favourite haunts when I am home.

Old Airport Road hawker centre hides a gem of an old couple just enjoying what they do.

And make no mistake, there will be a wait for food. The elderly uncle will do things HIS way but it is so worth it.

My favourite dish at the place the Hainanese pork chop.
With the steamed fish and stir-fried silk gourds with eggs etc. It is simple home cooking which is just what the doctor ordered.
